Join a mission-driven organization as a Development Manager focused on building the sustainable donor relationships and fundraising systems necessary for long-term growth. This remote role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic revenue initiatives while partnering closely with executive leadership to expand our impact. We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage high-impact campaigns and cultivate a diverse portfolio of supporters.

About the role

The Development Manager serves as a cornerstone of our growth strategy, taking ownership of the fundraising lifecycle to ensure our mission remains well-funded and resilient. This is a role for a builder and a connector who understands that sustainable development is rooted in authentic relationship management. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive fundraising campaigns that resonate with our community, ensuring that every donor feels a deep sense of partnership with our work. By bridging the gap between our programmatic goals and our financial resources, you will play a vital role in translating our vision into actionable funding opportunities. In this position, you will act as a primary point of contact for our donor base, moving beyond transactional interactions to foster genuine stewardship. You will spend your time identifying new prospects, nurturing existing supporters, and creating personalized engagement plans that align donor interests with our organizational needs. This requires a sophisticated approach to communication, as you will be tasked with articulating complex mission-driven concepts into compelling narratives for proposals, appeals, and impact reports. Your ability to tell our story with clarity and passion will be the driving force behind our revenue growth. Operational excellence is just as critical as relationship building in this role. You will be expected to manage the administrative and analytical side of development, which includes tracking revenue trends, maintaining accurate records, and preparing detailed reports for leadership. By analyzing donor data and campaign performance, you will provide the insights necessary to refine our strategies and optimize our outreach efforts. You will also coordinate the logistics of fundraising events, ensuring that every touchpoint with our audience is professional, impactful, and aligned with our brand values. Collaboration is central to our culture, and you will work hand-in-hand with both the leadership team and our program staff. You will help program teams identify fundable projects and gather the data needed to demonstrate our success to stakeholders. Simultaneously, you will support executive leadership by preparing them for high-level donor meetings and providing the strategic framework for major gift asks. This role offers the autonomy of a remote environment while requiring the high-level coordination of a central hub, making it an ideal fit for a self-motivated professional who thrives on mission-aligned work.
